Ondansetron
[Zofran] First-line for OCD (very effective, well tolerated). May help binge drinking, bulimia.
Gepirone
[$ Exxua] Similar to buspirone but not as useful (costly, requires EKG testing, failed in most depression trials)
Nefazodone
[Serzone] Last-line antidepressant (a less sedating version of trazodone, but liver risks)
Trazodone
Deepens sleep quality in low doses, but under-utlilized as an antidepressant, where it can be very effective and tolerable if dosed at night.
Ramelteon
[Rozerem] Safe hypnotic that may improve depression in bipolar disorder. Think of it as a potent melatonin.
