Rankings

Treatments are ranked 1-4 based based on efficacy, safety, and whether better options are available. If there are no good options available, something with limited evidence may rise to the top as long as it is safe. The med list will not sort by ranking (because each ranks differently depending on the disorder), so look

  1. First line consideration
  2. Second line
  3. Third line (either research is 1-2 small trials, high risks, or there are better options)
  4. Experimental (trials are few and problematic)
