Dosing
Childhood autism: Dose by weight if under 50 kg: 400 mg/kg/day, divided bid. If over 50 kg: 14,000 mg bid.
Management
Improved overall symptoms, communication, motor skills, and ratings of parental distress in phase II trial of children, including those with intellectual disability.
TOLERABILITY: Appetite loss, GI distress. No risks.
