Folinic acid 2 mg/kg/day, max 50 mg/day, divided bid

Management

Addresses folate deficiency in autism caused by folate autoantibody receptors (that prevent transport into the brain and are present in 30-80%). FDA approved for cerebral folate deficiency, but not autism.
